Roadshow Dates - GEORGE HERITAGE FESTIVAL
The George Heritage Festival invites all its Residents, Visitors and Friends to participate in the celebration of our culture and the diversity of our beliefs and traditions.
During this time, various events will be hosted to celebrate our shared culture, customs, traditions, sport, stories and memories passed on from our parents, grandparents and families to our children. We learn and are influenced by the place and the people around us.
This Festival is for all Residents of George, our Families, Friends and Visitors and you are invited to participate to ensure its success. You and / or your organisation can become involved by hosting planned events as part of the George Heritage Festival. Although the Official Programme will run from 1 to 8 October with a special start on the evening of 30 September 2016, events such as the Fancourt Heritage Classic, from as early as 21 September 2016 are included in our Events Calendar.
Roadshows to encourage participation and give more information on how you can become involved, will be hosted at 18:00 at the following venues:

11 July 2016 George Banquet Hall, York Street - Postponed to 18 July
12 July 2016 Pacaltsdorp Civic, 47 Mission Street
13 July 2016 Parkdene Hall, Ballot Street
14 July 2016 Thusong Centre, off Nelson Madela Boulevard, Mgcakan Jeriko Street, Thembalethu
