Mayor Naik receives It’s Time Prayer Cycle Tour 2018 to George

George Mayor Ald Melvin Naik welcomed the It’s time Cycle team and event intercessors as they passed through and prayed for George. Heinz Winckler, Ayjay Meintjies, Thandi Hlomo, Graham Power and Frans Cronje who are all part of a fire trail/cycle tour from Beaufort West to Mitchell’s Plain in the run up to the Cape Town “It’s Time prayer gathering” with Angus Buchan on 24 March 2018.  The fire trail  is praying for spiritual and physical rain for the Western Cape. The cyclists travelled along the M12 over the Outeniqua Pass into Courtney Street and York Street to Unity Park for a prayer sessions. Church and prayer leaders from George joined the prayer session. Mayor Naik welcomed the team to George and said we as a city are truly blessed to have a full dam of water. He said in his welcoming words he might be the Mayor of George but  God has the final say over George. Heinz led worship with 2 songs and the church leaders and intercessors prayed for George and Mayor Naik. Here Dr Graham Power, founder of Unashamedly Ethical, a global campaign by individuals and organisations guided by a founding vision to transform society by taking a stand for ethics, values and clean living, address the Mayor Naik and spiritual leaders while Winckler records the event.
