GO GEORGE taking hands with Tourism

The new Manager of George Tourism, Joan Shaw, has invited GO GEORGE to hand out information about the bus service at a Meet and Greet presented by the Tourism Office on Tuesday, 23 May 2017. Stakeholders in the local tourism industry were invited to the informal event where Shaw shared her enthusiasm and ambition for George to become one of the favourite tourist destinationsin the Garden Route. Discussing the GO GEORGE information brochures available to tourists are, from left, Tyron Jeyi, GO GEORGE Community Liaison Officer, Joan Shaw, and Lizzie Marshall, a local guest house owner.

GO GEORGE vat hande met Toerisme

Die nuwe bestuurder van George-toerisme, Joan Shaw, het GO GEORGE genooi om inligting oor die busdiens uit te deel by ’n “ontmoet en groet”-geleentheid wat Dinsdag 23 Mei 2017 deur die toerismekantoor aangebied is. Rolspelers in die plaaslike toerismebedryf is genooi na die informele kuier waartydens Shaw haar entoesiasme en ambisie om George uit te bou tot een van die Tuinroete se gunstelingbestemmings, gedeel het. Hier verduidelik Tyron Jeyi, GO GEORGE-gemeenskapskakelbeampte, aan Shaw (middel) en Lizzie Marshall, ’n plaaslike gastehuiseienaar, watter tipe inligtingsmaterial beskikbaar is vir toeriste.
