George Municipality and SEDA in collaboration

We are excited to announce that the George Municipality in collaboration with SEDA are opening co-location offices

“The small business industry is critical to job growth in the city, but it’s a tough market out there. Half of all entrepreneurs and small businesses fail before three years and a further 90% before the first ten years.”

For this reason, the City of George is committed to supporting small businesses by building partnerships with the Small Enterprise Development Agency (SEDA) in co-locating SEDA to our Pacaltsdorp and Thembalethu Tourism Offices.

Small businesses and entrepreneurs now have the opportunity to visit SEDA more often and in close proximity from where these businesses are located.

SEDA Offerings

SEDA offers entrepreneurs a helping hand through business consulting, training and referrals to specialist service providers. Business advisors help entrepreneurs identify what they need to succeed, whether it be skills, contacts or funding, and help them to access it.

SEDA should be the starting point for all potential entrepreneurs, as well as existing entrepreneurs looking to grow their businesses. Every entrepreneur who walks through SEDA’s doors will be assisted in some way.  Even when they cannot directly provide a service, entrepreneurs will be referred to a suitable course or partner.

Office hours will be as follows;

Pacaltsdorp Tourism Offices on Tuesdays from 9h00 – 15h00

Thembalethu Tourism Offices on Thursdays from 9h00 – 15h00

Please noted that due to Public Holiday/ Office closure and  these offices will close on the following days;

26/28 December 2017

02/04 January 2018
